In 2011 we began sponsorships with local youth athletic organizations including; Hillsborough Little League, Bridgewater Baseball and Softball Leagues, and Warren Baseball and Softball Leagues. It is important to us as a local small business to support our surrounding communities, especially our future superstars.
On February 24th, B.O.D.'s Cathy Donnelly and sisters attended the 5th Annual Ladies Night Out benefit in honor of the Meghan Rose Bradley Foundation. It was a lovely night out! The ladies enjoyed wine tasting, delicious food, and a silent auction. The Meghan Rose Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and funds regarding pediatric brain cancer. On May 1, 2011 we took part in sponsoring the STRIVE FOR 5 Spring Fitness Challenge, presented by Bridgewater Baseball. Adam Gomez, Gina Hector and her daughter Veronica completed the challenge at Duke Island Park.
On May 17, 2011 Bridgewater Overhead Doors was recognized by Clopay for its outstanding sales at Clopay's Annual Leadership Conference which was held at the Ritz Carleton in Amelia Island, Florida. Our general manager, Adam Gomez, represented B.O.D. at this event. It is with pride that we've continued another year as a Master Authorized Dealer of Clopay products.
On October 22, 2011 we took part in sponsoring CanswerLink's 2nd Annual 5k Walk/Run at Duke Island Park. Adam Gomez, Gina Hector, Veronica and her friend Ashley completed the challenge. CanswerLink provides non toxic house cleaning for cancer patients undergoing treatment. They have recently changed their name from CanswerLink to ComforTree.
